The Second Lecture of The New Semester Held by The School of International Education

At 15:30, 27th October, the School of International Education held the second lecture of a series of activities for the new semester. The school specially invited Mr. Ammar Muhammad, Secretary General of the Beijing Global Talent Exchange Association, to give a special lecture on "An Understanding to the Study and Career Paths in China for International Students". More than 40 students and teachers, including leadership of the school, class supervisors of students, international postgraduate & undergraduate students and language students participated in the activity online. The lecture was hosted by Dr. Fang Yi, the deputy dean of the school.

Mr. Ammar Muhammad firstly introduced the basic information of the Special Committee for Overseas Chinese Talents of Beijing Global Talent Exchange and Promotion Association, enabling students to have a preliminary understanding of the mission and functions of the Association. Then, he introduced to the audience in detail the policies and mechanisms related to internship residence, work residence, innovation and entrepreneurship awards for international students in China. At the same time, Mr. Ammar Muhammad explained several key factors for the successful development of international students in China, taking several graduates of BIGC as examples. Finally, Mr. Ammar Muhammad wishes all the international students academic progress, successful graduation and the right path to career development.

The participating teachers and students listened carefully to the lecture. During the interactive session, international students had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Ammar Muhammad on the learning and work issues they cared about, and expressed their sincere thanks to Mr. Ammar Muhammad for his wonderful lecture.
