To enhance the understanding of China among international students and provide them with a comprehensive, multi-dimensional view of the country's scientific and technological achievements, the School of International Education organized a field visit to iFLYTEK on June 18. More than ten international students from ten countries participated in the "Experience China·Smart Future" educational activity, which took them beyond the campus and into the heart of China's innovation ecosystem, offering an immersive glimpse into the vitality and creativity of the country's artificial intelligence industry.

Guided by a docent, the international students toured the core exhibition areas of iFLYTEK's AI Experience Hall, where they gained a systematic understanding of fundamental AI technologies, typical application scenarios, and the development trajectory of Chinese tech enterprises committed to independent innovation and technology commercialization. During the visit, students paid close attention to the core capabilities of the iFLYTEK Spark Cognitive Model, as well as the extensive applications of AI in smart education, smart healthcare, smart industry, and other fields. They also had hands-on experience with innovative products such as iFLYTEK's real-time translation system, multilingual virtual anchors, and smart office notebooks. Unlike abstract knowledge from textbooks, the visual and scenario-based displays in the exhibition hall made complex technological concepts more accessible and vividly illustrated how China's AI technologies are deeply embedded in everyday life and empowering various industries.

This corporate visit represents a key initiative by the School of International Education to diversify the forms of China-specific education and deepen its practical impact. The College has consistently emphasized the use of diverse activities—including corporate research tours, social surveys, and cultural experiences—to guide international students in gaining a holistic understanding of China's economic development, technological progress, and social landscape. Going forward, the School plans to further strengthen its practical education mechanisms, expand thematic activities such as "Experience China," and continue to guide international students toward a deeper understanding of China's development path, philosophy, and accomplishments. The ultimate goal is to cultivate more international talents who are knowledgeable about and friendly toward China, and who can facilitate mutual learning between Chinese and global civilizations.
