In the autumn of 2022, BIGC welcomed 56 international students to study. The 2022 freshmen come from 21 countries. The top five countries with students are Liberia, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Among them, 27% of the freshmen come from countries along the the Belt and Road. For the first time, the school enrolls students from Senegal, Samoa (Oceania), Congo (Kinshasa), Armenia and Turkmenistan.
Online enrollment
This year, there are 43 international freshmen enrolled in secondary schools, accounting for 77%, and 13 language students, accounting for 23%. Undergraduate enrollment majors are computer science and technology. Postgraduate enrollment majors are business administration and information & communication engineering. At present, the registration and registration of international freshmen have been basically completed online and offline, and the courses for freshmen and seniors have also been carried out orderly as planned.
Online teaching
In terms of teaching, after the online class for international seniors was held on 29th August, the online class for international freshmen was officially held on 13th September according to the scheduled teaching plan. This semester, there are 17 courses for international freshmen. A total of 44 courses have been offered to the senior international students. In addition, there are 8 courses for Chinese trainees at four levels.
