International Students Achieved Excellent Results in the Third "Telling Chinese Stories in English" Competition

On 12th May, under the guidance of the China Language Exchange and Cooperation Center, China Education Press, and China Education International Exchange Association, the advanced stage competition of the third "Telling Chinese Stories in English" competition jointly organized by China Education Television and New Channel International Education Group came to an end. The school actively encourages international students to participate in the activities of the international student group in China, with a total of 19 international students registering to participate. Finally, 12 international students advanced to the intermediate stage, and 1 international student advanced to the advanced stage. Among them, one student won the third prize in the advanced stage, two students won the third prize in the intermediate stage, and nine students won the excellent award in the intermediate stage.

During the advanced stage competition, AGA BETELHEM BAYSA, a foreign student from the school, gave a keynote speech titled "This is China", telling the story of what she saw, heard, and felt in China, expressing her feelings for China and her love for Chinese culture. She expressed her understanding and recognition of Chinese values during the talent display and impromptu Q&A sessions. Her speech is vivid and infectious, fully showcasing the level and demeanor of international students of BIGC.

In recent years, BIGC has attached great importance to the development of international student education and continues to pay attention to the cultivation of international students. By conducting various forms of traditional Chinese cultural practice activities, the school aim to deepen the understanding and understanding of Chinese culture among international students studying in China.
