International Students of BIGC Participated in the first International Summit Forum on Publishing Education

On 17th June, the first "International Summit Forum on Publishing Education" was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. Eleven international students of BIGC attended the forum. They come from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Morocco, Nigeria and other countries along the "the Belt and Road".

The forum is organized by BIGC, China Book Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd., etc. The forum revolves around the two main themes of "publishing education and talent cultivation in the integrated media environment" and "the integrated media development of multinational publishing companies", gathering experts from both domestic and foreign publishing academia and industry to exchange and discuss ideas, gather consensus on innovative publishing education, and jointly seek high-quality development of the publishing industry.

The attending students expressed great gratitude to the school for providing such a good learning platform for international students. By participating in the learning and exchange of this forum, they have realized the important role that publishing plays in promoting and strengthening international cultural exchange. Students have gained an understanding of the academic achievements and development level of the international publishing industry, as well as the demand for international publishing talents in the era of integrated media.

In recent years, the school has vigorously promoted the quality construction of international talent cultivation, focused on developing cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, actively encouraged and supported international students to deepen their professional learning, participate in various academic lectures and conferences, aiming to cultivate high-level international talents and create the brand of "Study at BIGC".
