International Students Made Good Achievements in the 38th Student Sport Game of BIGC

On 10th and 12th May , international students participated in the 38th Sport Games of BIGC, endowing the Games with a unique international style and diverse colors of internationalization. At the opening ceremony, more than 80 international students from more than 30 countries walked across the podium with a passionate melody and a steady pace. The students were enthusiastic and constantly waving their respective national flags, showcasing their talents to the entire university.

This competition saw Chinese and foreign students compete together, exchanging experiences, gaining friendship, and promoting the integration of Chinese and foreign cultures. International students have participated in more than ten competition events, vividly demonstrating the spirit of hard work and perseverance in sports, showcasing their style and level. After two days of intense competition, international students achieved excellent results in five sports events, including men's sprint, long-distance running, shot put, high jump, and triple jump. SHERKUZIEV NURIDDIN from Uzbekistan achieved a good result of finishing third in the shot put competition. KOURRI NASRALLAH from Morocco and JURAKULOV JAVOKHIR from Uzbekistan respectively ranked sixth in the men's 100m and men's triple jump competitions. SULTANI MOHAMMAD ASIF from Afghanistan ranked seventh in the men's high jump competition. ANTOR SREEJON BISWAS from Bangladesh and JURAKULOV JAVOKHIR from Uzbekistan ranked 5th and 7th respectively in the men's 1500m race.
