The Teaching Affair for International Students in the Spring Semester of 2023 Was Smoothly Carried Out

On 20th February , 127 international students ushered the new semester, with all international graduate, undergraduate, and language students starting classes both offline and online.

To ensure the smooth progress of the start of the new semester, the school held a meeting before the winter vacation to prepare various tasks related to the start of the spring semester. Especially with the adjustment of epidemic prevention and control policies, the school have been strictly implemented and a detailed work plan has been formulated. Based on the current situation of international students, arrange online teaching for the first 8 weeks , and switch to offline teaching from the 9th week; Language students are scheduled for offline teaching from 1 to 16 weeks. A total of 54 theoretical courses will be offered in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. It includes 9 graduate professional courses, 25 undergraduate professional courses, 12 Chinese language courses for academic students, and 8 Chinese language courses for language students. There are also 6 students in 2021 Computer Science & Technology who will continue to study in the corresponding professional Chinese student classes in accordance with the principles of assimilation in Chinese language teaching and the teaching arrangements of the Academic Affairs Office.

In the new semester, the school also requires teachers and graduate supervisors to strengthen their care for international students, especially to fully consider the situation and difficulties of overseas students, and adjust their personal learning and graduation research plans in a timely manner. Since the start of the week, offline and online teaching guidance activities have been carried out smoothly and orderly. Domestic students have studied diligently and achieved good teaching results. Overseas students are actively handling entry procedures and eagerly looking forward to returning to campus to fulfill their dream of studying in BIGC.
