On the morning of 24th November, the online award ceremony of the "iBeijing" 2022 Beijing Photography Competition in the eyes of foreign friends was successfully held. GAYRATOV AZIZBEK, a Uzbek international student of computer science and technology major under the guidance of Ms. Zou Deli, a teacher of the School of International Education, won the second prize in this competition for his work "A Great Blessing to the Great China in the World".

The School of International Education carefully organizes teachers to guide students to participate in the competition, and encourages students to record what they see and feel with cameras. GAYRATOV AZIZBEK's entries express the deep feelings of the Chinese people for their motherland, and also express his good wishes for China, which won unanimous praise from the judges. GAYRATOV AZIZBEK was also invited to record a speech video for the award ceremony, in which he shared his experience and feelings when he came to China and expressed his sincere love for China.

This photo contest is co-sponsored by the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Information Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government. With the theme of "New Era, New Beijing", it aims to show the real Beijing through the lens of foreign friends, and show the development achievements of Beijing in implementing the strategic positioning of "four centers" and building a world-class harmonious and livable city. The activity received nearly 1500 contributions from foreign friends from 42 countries on five continents, including embassies and consulates in Beijing, enterprises, universities, etc. 40 winning works were selected through professional review, including one first prize, three second prizes, six third prizes, and 30 excellent prizes.
