The online teaching work for international students in the new semester has been carried out smoothly

On 21st February, 162 international postgraduate students, undergraduates and language students ushered in the new semester, and started online learning.

A total of 49 courses of various types will be offered in the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. On the basis of the online teaching experience in the past four semesters, the School of International Education has actively contacted teachers to optimize and adjust the teaching content and form to ensure the quality and progress of teaching. Teachers mainly focus on live teaching of courses, using platforms such as Tencent conference, Ding talk, QQ group live broadcast, Zoom, etc., and uploading learning guidance materials in combination with WeChat groups and public mailboxes. Two foreign teachers, Daniel and Abdul, are enthusiastic about their work overseas, overcoming difficulties such as time difference, and undertaking online teaching tasks for multiple courses.

Since the start of all the courses, online teaching have been carried out smoothly and orderly. International students have overcome difficulties, studied hard, and achieved good teaching results. The students said that the successful holding of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics greatly inspired them, and they were proud of BIGC's contribution to the Winter Olympics. By watching the Winter Olympics, the students felt the confidence and strength of the world to overcome the epidemic, and looked forward to returning to the beautiful campus as soon as possible.
