International students showed their style and level at the 37th Student Games of BIGC

On 12th and 14th May, international students from School of International Education participated in the 37th Student Games of BIGC. At the opening ceremony, accompanied by the high-spirited athlete march, the teachers and students of the school formed a neat phalanx and walked through the rostrum with firm steps. The international students were enthusiastic and waved their national flags and Chinese national flags to all the leaders. 

Showed their demeanor with all the teachers and students of the school. On the sports field, the international students worked hard to fight for the first place. They participated in the men's 100 meters, 1500 meters, long jump and shot put competitions.

In the men's 100-meter race, AZIZBEK from Uzbekistan and ALPHA from Congo sprinted to the finish line, fully demonstrating the high spirits and enthusiasm. In the long jump competition, Uzbekistan student Dostombek and Congo-Brazzaville student ALPHA jumped into the air in front of the bunker, aroused the sand to fly, and attracted cheers. In the end, ALPHA obtained the qualification to enter the school pre-finals. In the men's 1500m race, which tested endurance, Dostonbek and AZIZBEK did not give up easily. Although they were soaked in sweat and short of breath, they still struggled to catch up and surpass themselves.

 We applauded and applauded them. In the competition, Uzbekistan's international student NURIDDIN became stronger and finally won the third place. We are proud of him! The international students of this Games performed well, showed a good mental outlook, fully embodies the "faster, higher, and stronger" sportsmanship. The competition has demonstrated style and level. At the same time, the competition has also promoted the communication and exchanges between Chinese and foreign students deepened the friendship. 

In the Games, all staff of the School of the International Education united and cooperated to organize student registration, inspection, competition, and videography in an orderly manner to ensure the service of athletes. We believe that in the future sports games, the international students will achieve better results.
