On the afternoon of 5th August, the award ceremony of the 2022 "Beijing and Me" Essay Competition was held at the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The university won the "Excellent Organization Award" in the competition, and BATRES ORELLANA GABRIELA ABIGAIL from El Salvador and TURSUNKHODJAEV ARJUNA from Uzbekistan won the "Excellence Award" in the competition.
The School of International Education organized students to participate in this activity for the first time, carefully arranged teachers to guide students, and hoped to stimulate the enthusiasm of international students to write in Chinese through the competition. The students put into writing what they saw, heard and thought about studying in China, and wrote their own stories about Beijing.
