The First Lecture of The New Semester Held by The School of International Education

At 3:00 p.m. 28th September, the school of international education held the first lecture of a series of activities for the new semester. The school invited Professor Pu Jialing, the former vice president of BIGC, to give a special lecture on "BIGC: The evolution of printing and the related technologies". More than 60 international students and teachers participated in the activity online. The lecture was hosted by Dr. Fang Yi, deputy dean of the school.

Professor Pu Jialing firstly introduced the development of BIGC, which made the new students have a preliminary impression on the university. Then, he introduced the development, process characteristics and application status of printing technology to the audience in simple terms from four aspects: graphic communication, interactive/live graphic communication, printing technology and printing manufacturing. In addition, Professor Pu Jialing also explained emerging technologies such as 3D printing and biological printing to students. Finally, Professor Pu Jialing wishes the international students returning to the campus as soon as possible, and wishes them a successful graduation in the future.

The participating teachers and students listened carefully to the lecture, and in the interactive link, they had in-depth exchanges with Professor Pu Jialing on the content they were interested in, and expressed sincere thanks to Professor Pu Jialing for his wonderful lecture.
